Healthcare Leader Receives HFSE Founders Award

Adrenaline’s Cathy Richter honored for her dedication and service to the mission of advancing better delivery of healthcare through the physical space

On Monday, October 8 at the 2018 Healthcare Facilities Symposium & Expo, Cathy Richter, Adrenaline’s VP of Client Engagement in Healthcare, received one of the Healthcare Facilities Symposium highest honors. Announced by the HFSE Advisory Board, Dr. Wayne Ruga and Jenabeth Ferguson presented the Founders Award to Cathy during the Awards Lunch as part of the annual conference to honor her continued dedication to the annual HFSE Symposium & Expo.

The recipient of the Founders Award is recognized as a professional who has demonstrated a dedication and service to the ideals of the HSFE, a symposium established in 1987 by Dr. Wayne Ruga as a forum to initiate the inquiry of how the design of the physical environment could positively affect healing and promote well-being. The honoree is identified as a trusted leader who contributes in an extraordinary way to help lead the symposium forward and exchange significant ideas with industry leaders. 

Always celebrating others, Cathy helps identify new members for HFSE and makes introductions to industry leaders. She has had a significant a role in suggesting and selecting keynotes over her 28 years on the board, and in the past few years alone, she and her team have raised over $145,000 for charity. Her contributions result in HFSE producing cutting edge presentations for conference sessions that push the industry forward.
