Agency’s collaboration with UNIFY Financial Credit Union results in a 2020 American Advertising Federation Bronze Award through the Atlanta Ad Club local competition
Monday, March 2, 2020 – On Thursday, February 27 at an awards ceremony at The Stave Room at American Spirit Works in Atlanta, Adrenaline won a Bronze Addy Award in the American Advertising Awards local competition for its work with UNIFY Financial Credit Union. The award-winning television ad featured LA Rams Safety John Johnson III making some “pretty big stops” on and off the field.
In this spirited spot, Johnson’s helping an average Joe by blocking him from wearing a speedo and microwaving fish at work. Then with UNIFY, Johnson doesn’t have to block, but instead welcomes Joe inside the UNIFY branch to find a range of options available giving “access to your money so you can connect your way.” This spot deftly deploys humor, celebrity and UNIFY’s value proposition in a unique, layered way to leave a lasting impression.
Adrenaline’s creative team was at the ceremony to receive the award, recognizing the industry’s best work across the country. The Addy Awards are advertising’s largest competition with more than 40,000 entries each year in the local American Advertising Federation chapters. Judged by a renowned panel of advertising experts, the Atlanta Ad Club’s annual competition honors the best creative work of the previous calendar year.
