Bowl-A-Thon Blowout Raises Funds for At-Risk Youth

Adrenaline’s Portsmouth, New Hampshire office shows off its team spirit and scoring skills

Monday, March 11, 2019 – Whether you’re a true kingpin, mister average or a real gutter baller, there is something for everyone at the Dover Children’s Home Bowl-A-Thon. On Sunday, February 17, 2019, teams from across the Seacoast participated in the annual fundraiser which garnered more than $30,000 for vital programs provided by Dover Children’s Home. This linchpin of the community has provided treatment, housing and educational services to New Hampshire’s most vulnerable children and teens since 1893.

In a five year streak, Adrenaline has sent some of its most spirited (and sometimes talented) bowlers to take part in Dover Children’s Home’s largest fundraising event of the year. This year, the company’s three teams raised more than $2,800 and took home top awards in two team challenges. Adrenaline’s teams received honors for Best Team Theme Wear for “Livin’ on a Spare” – way to wear it well! For the turkeys among the teams, the Highest Score award went to team “Bowl Movements” with 476 points.

Adrenaline’s team coordinator Lynda McPhee says that this annual event is a fun way to support the community. “We have team members and family and friends pledging and participating every year. Everyone knows that the Dover Children’s Home is a really a special organization and the Bowl-A-Thon is a great way to have a ball while supporting the important work they do.” You don’t have to wait until next year’s event to support them.
