Friday, August 28, 2020– On a mission to pull back the curtain on the experience design process, Adrenaline has released its latest case study in financial services, featuring the Mississippi-based Guaranty Bank & Trust, a community institution with rich history and modern needs. Chock full of illuminating insights and strategic solutions from the brand to the branch, this holistic examination reveals how one bank met seemingly incongruous demands – preserving history while reaching out new audiences.

As a new generation took on the leadership of this community institution, the bank’s new CEO had quite a challenge at hand. Seeking to balance the past with the future, Guaranty needed to embrace the legacy of this family-run bank and at the same time, maximize its future prospects by updating the brand and rolling it out into branches. Serving its core customer in home markets first, the modern southern brand took on a historical preservation project and incorporated an innovative approach to meeting customer needs, through an offsite, but convenient and connected ITM.

Enlarging their footprint to take advantage of new opportunities, Guaranty then moved north toward Memphis and expanded its service model to leverage “good business moves.” Focused on business banking, the bank’s expert consultation revolves around a suite of services for local small business. Positively positioned for expansion, Guaranty can now leverage their brand for growth – through M&A, ground-up builds, existing buildouts and ITMs – in current or new markets to support their strategic focus on small business.
